If you are trying to clean up your diet this year, and yogurt is on the list, I have some ideas. I’ve binged on all of these variations at one time or another. Since all the yogurt in my fridge is homemade, I start with “plain” yogurt that has been strained to be especially thick (Greek yogurt), but that doesn’t mean you have to do the same. Any style of yogurt, homemade or store-bought, will do.
My first suggestion and current fave is this yogurt/ice cream combo made with plain yogurt combined with any flavor of ice cream. For the moment, we are hooked on Halo Ice Cream. (This is not a sponsored post.) It’s a low-carb ice cream that’s delicious but not so creamy on its own. Try adding plain yogurt to your favorite flavor, stir it up well, and you’ll have a sweet and creamy high-protein dessert reminiscent of soft-serve frozen yogurt without nearly as much sugar.

Over to you. Do you have a favorite way to eat your unflavored yogurt that I need to try?
