I don’t know about you, but figuring out how to organize my recipe clippings has been a life-long challenge for me. It’s so easy to tear or print out recipes that sound delicious but not so easy to find them when I finally have all the ingredients and/or time to try them. That’s one reason, or more accurately, the main reason I started this blog–so all my recipes would be assembled in one place with an index. It has worked, as far as it goes, but I continue to collect new ones from the internet and various other sources. Messy stacks abound in my desk drawers.
So today, I’m excited to announce I’ve partnered with Ziplist, along with many, many other bloggers such as Kalyn’s Kitchen, Recipe Girl, and Simply Recipes to offer you a system to save your favorite recipes in one place.
Although you can still print my recipes on your printer, now you can access your Ziplist online recipe box by clicking the “Save” button inside each recipe box. After you sign up (it’s free), you will be able to sign in and add recipes along with a picture. As you can see below, you have several choices within the virtual recipe box itself. You can modify the recipe, add it to a menu planner, indicate ingredients you may need and check out deals at your local grocery store. There’s more but it’s quite easy to figure it out for yourself when you get there. Ziplist also offers a mobile app so you can quickly pull up your grocery list at the store. How cool is that?!
Speaking of changes, I told y’all a few months ago there were many changes coming our way this fall. One of them arrived slightly ahead of schedule but you wouldn’t know it by looking.
