I’m excited to be giving away a brand new Apple I-Pod touch 8G in celebration of the 3-month anniversary of this little blog. What a great present this would be — to yourself or someone you love.
“Salad in a Jar” is a baby in the blog world — still growing, changing, burping, hiccuping and causing some sleepless nights. It has been a steep learning curve, a time-sucker and full of mistakes and discoveries. ON THE OTHER HAND…I have had a great time with the Tuesdays with Dorie group, enjoyed making new friends and reconnecting with old friends and found a new hobby (and place to waste my money) in food photography. My family enjoys eating all the food too — even if there is a piece or a spoonful missing!
Entering is easy. Leave a comment on this post. Since I love salad, tell me your favorite salad to eat on Thanksgiving. If you don’t do salads, then tell me your favorite dessert. That’s it. Nothing else needed.

My favorite salad for thanksgiving is actually a chickpea tuna salad (with veganaise subed for mayo and smashed chickpeas subed for tuna/chicken, relish, chopped celery and onions and a bountiful mound of crisp lettuce and tomato!
My mom makes a lime jello salad with chopped nuts, pineapple, and cottage cheese. Delicious!!
My favorite T-G salad is traditional ole lettuce salad. Sprinkle some walnuts on there. YUM!
