Tuesdays with Dorie: Soft Chocolate and Raspberry Tart
Rich and decadent. Sophisticated and special. Chocolaty and fruity. Silky and smooth. Perfect with coffee.
I was conflicted about whether to make this tart. It’s the chocolate and fruit combination I wasn’t sure about. But I can’t pass up an opportunity to practice taking pictures. So I tried it and was won over!
I used my own favorite tart recipe and added pecans per Dorie’s suggestion. The filling went together quickly. Maybe too quickly. How did I get so many bubbles? Despite banging it on the counter top multiple times, my tart had the appearance of a sponge.
This tart is perfect for a special celebration. Anyway you slice it….
you will enjoy it!

Lovely photos! I think there was no way to get rid of all the bubbles.
Ciao ! I had lots of bubbles too !! I love the tart but the squares too !!! Bravissima !!
Beautiful photos – who cares about bubbles as long as it’s yummy!
Thanks for baking along with me this week and for stopping by my blog! =) Your tart looks great, bubbles and all! Your photos are nice too, I like the chocolate being poured into the tart.
I’m going to have to peek around your blog, it’s very nice!
That looks de-lish! I’m going to have to try the raspberries sometime, because I like the fruity combo and it looks so nice and YUMMY! Great photos!
How fancy that TWD has its own little section on your site! The tart looks lovely!
NICE PHOTOS esp the one pouring the chocolate mixture.
Looks yummy. I skipped TWD this week.

I hate you…. fresh raspberries, the perfect tart shell, perfectly cooked (mine was burnt compared to yours).
Oh well…. something for me to strive for! This looks like it belongs in Gourmet (RIP)… truly beautiful Paula! Mine bubbled toward the end – actually kind of “pok-marked”…. but was still good. Another exquisite TWD dish!
